IASIS MICRO CURRENT NEUROFEEDBACK
IASIS Micro Current Neurofeedback is an entirely safe, painless, non-invasive treatment, used to treat mind-related issues such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD and many other disorders (see list below). It also can be helpful with chronic pain.
Due to environmental factors, stress, sickness, trauma or injuries, the brain can become unbalanced, and brain waves can become fixed in patterns that produce brain-related disorders. The IASIS Micro Current Neurofeedback device encourages a ‘re-routing’ of established brain wave patterns, enabling it to adjust itself by creating new brain wave patterns.
It is a unique form of therapy, in that the device both monitors brainwaves AND provides stimulus to help achieve the optimal impact. It is a non-pharmaceutical way to rebalance and reorganize the nervous system for better regulation / optimal brain performance. Typical responses within the first few treatments are mental clarity, a sense of calmness, clearer senses, and more restorative sleep.

The appointment:
Please allow about 30-40 minutes for each appointment.
Small electrodes will be applied to certain points around the edge of the face and neck and on the head, so it is important that patients arrive for the treatment wearing no make-up or hair products, face and neck completely cleaned of cosmetics, creams and oils, and wear no jewellery on the neck.
It would also be helpful if clothing is loose at the back so that access to the upper back is possible.
Unlike traditional forms of neurofeedback, with Micro Current Neurofeedback no conscious effort is required from the individual receiving the feedback.
